Many brands of commercially produced Ice Cream are filled with unpronounceable ingredients. Even the so-called natural products have the odd filler or a stabilizer or an unusual sweetener or artificially bolstered flavour. If you are serious about preparing food for better health and wellness and want a popular treat… make your own ice cream!
Making your own ice cream lets you guarantee that its 100% natural AND 100% delicious… and using this no-churn recipe is really easy. Simply make unsweetened whipped cream and fold in sweetened condensed milk that has been flavoured to your own personal taste. I make vanilla ice cream flavoured by vanilla beans. I use Dutch Pressed cocoa to make chocolate and a combination of sweetened chopped strawberries and jam to make the third slice of Neopolitan.
Trust me here, the final result is down-right impressive.
INGREDIENTS

(To make vanilla, I replace the chocolate with pods from 1 vanilla bean. To make strawberry, I put 1/4 cup chopped ripe strawberries with a tablespoon of sugar into a small saucepan over medium heat and stir until they start to release their juice… let cool completely and fold into the whipped cream… you may choose to augment with strawberry jam to taste)
